Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Cloud EPM Consultant to join our growing practice. This is a pivotal role within Techspire, working on complex multi-workstream transformation programmes for public sector and enterprise clients. You will bring deep hands-on expertise across Oracle Cloud EPM products and contribute directly to delivery, client advisory, and practice development. The successful candidate will thrive in a high-autonomy, entrepreneurial environment and take genuine ownership of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of Oracle Cloud EPM modules including FCCS, Planning & Budgeting, TRCS, EDMCS, and Account Reconciliation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex business requirements into scalable EPM solutions and presenting confidently at senior stakeholder level.
• Design and deliver financial close acceleration, tax compliance (including BEPS Pillar 2), ESG/sustainability reporting integrations, and profitability and cost management models.
• Architect and build integrations between Oracle EPM and ERP systems, data lakes, and BI/reporting tools.
• Lead or contribute to data migration and metadata governance workstreams, including hierarchy management via EDMCS.
• Conduct quality assurance and independent platform assessments, identifying gaps and optimisation opportunities for clients.
• Support pre-sales, solution scoping, and proposal development as part of Techspire's business growth.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants, contributing to Techspire's knowledge base and delivery standards.
• Stay current with Oracle EPM product roadmap developments and emerging tools such as OneStream and Board.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of hands-on EPM consulting experience, with demonstrable delivery across Oracle Cloud EPM (FCCS, Planning, TRCS, EDMCS, Account Reconciliation, PCM).
• Proven track record of leading full-life cycle implementations from requirements through to post-go-live support.
• Strong technical skills in custom design, automation, and integrations within the Oracle EPM ecosystem.
• Experience working across Big 4 or major consulting environments, with the credibility to engage C-suite and Finance leadership.
• Solid understanding of financial close processes, consolidation, tax reporting, and driver-based planning and forecasting.
• Familiarity with ESG/sustainability reporting frameworks and embedding ESG metrics into EPM solutions (IBM Envizi or equivalent desirable).
• Exposure to platform modernisation projects - migrating from Legacy Hyperion to Oracle Cloud EPM or alternatives such as OneStream XF or Board.
• Experience managing or mentoring offshore and global delivery teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Desirable (But Not Essential)

• Oracle certifications in HFM, Planning, PCMCS, or TRCS.
• PhD or postgraduate research in AI, data science, or related fields.
• Experience with AI-driven analytics or emerging AI/ML applications in finance and performance management.
• Familiarity with OneStream XF or Board as alternative EPM platforms.
• Prior experience in UK public sector transformation programmes.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
