Business Process Analyst - Supply Chain

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
Business Process is a central department at TTI EMEA and we drive changes across EMEA to support the organisation achieve its strategic goals.
We do this by:
- Working with business process owners (BPOs) across all parts of EMEA to:
- develop and design policies, processes, systems and controls
- lead the implementation of new processes, policies, systems and controls
- identify opportunities for continuous process improvement
- Working with Technology and business process owners (BPOs) to ensure such changes and projects are delivered on time, within budget and with the best quality outcomes
- Leading or supporting strategic business projects as project managers and/or business analysts
- Advising the organisation how to drive process optimisation
- Supporting and challenge our stakeholders and ensure proposed changes are aligned with our strategic goals
- Ensuring changes are properly managed & communicated across the organisation.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a fixed term contract role acting as the subject matter expert in master data management in a SAP environment. This includes entities such as customers, products, suppliers and locations.
You will act as a business partner for our supply chain operational units across EMEA to drive changes and projects to enable delivery of their initiatives and improvement programmes. These include not only process changes, but also assessing how technology can support the strategic plan in these areas.
You will need to work closely with key users to understand their requirement for changes. You will work with our IT team to assess effort and help the Lead Business Analyst and our Business Process Owners (BPO) prioritise these system & process changes accordingly. You will be working through the full lifecycle including supporting the testing and training of these changes.
Whilst this will be a very “hands-on” role to drive step change in the organisation, there will also be opportunities for you to work with senior executives in these areas to identify and plan strategic changes and projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be part of the Supply Chain Business Analyst team, reporting to our Lead Business Analyst for Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service & Aftersales team.
Project support
- You will be working on a key strategic project. This would include activities such as:
- Capturing requirements and document processes (as-is and to-be)
- Facilitate process design and requirement workshops
- Work with the technical team to ensure requirements are understood and solutions are sustainable
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) effort – develop & design test scenarios and test scripts, daily review of test results and coordinating with IT for bug fixing
- Training key users about new processes, support the creation of training material
- Supporting the project manager to ensure on time delivery
Change request
- Working closely with our key users, IT and other Business Analysts supporting different business areas:
- Review key users requests for change, gather requirements
- Assess the cost and benefit, as well as impact on current processes of the proposed change
- Support assessment of proposed technical solution & its suitability against user requirements
- Coordinate user acceptance testing effort
- Keep track of all the change requests in the supply chain and customer service areas & communicate with key users
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a senior business analyst/project manager working in the supply chain, logistic and customer service area with a strong focus on SAP master data.
- Working knowledge of SAP ERP, especially for the Sales & Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) module is highly essential
- Product lifecycle knowledge and understanding beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a track record of effectively engaging with both IT and business stakeholders and serving as a bridge between the two.
- Skilled at capturing business requirements, including creating user stories and acceptance criteria
- Strong capabilities in process design and improvement
- Hands on experience in application testing including development of test scripts and analysing test results
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders across all levels, ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Business Analyst qualifications is a plus (e.g. from British Computer Society)
- Experience in both waterfall and agile project methodologies a bonus
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional project teams
- Project management experience is desirable
- Experience and knowledge in Supply Chain and/or CRM applications is a plus
- Exposure to marketing, customer and sales data analytics is desirable
- Ability to ravel within Europe desirable
