Integration Engineer | SC Cleared | Outside IR35 | API, AWS, PoC

We are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to support a high-profile integration proof of concept within a complex enterprise environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building APIs, developing integration solutions, and working within agile engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality outcomes.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and testing integrations on a modern iPaaS platform, helping to establish foundational capabilities that will support future enterprise-wide adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy integration solutions using Boomi or comparable iPaaS technologies.
- Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, QA, and DevOps specialists to deliver PoC objectives.
- Contribute to technical design, documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and optimisation of integration services.
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Strong experience delivering integration and API-led solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Boomi or similar iPaaS/Middleware platforms.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Understanding of integration architecture and modern development practices.
- Experience working within agile delivery teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to take ownership and work independently within a fast-paced environment.
- Public sector experience.

Location: Hybrid, occasional London travel
