End User Computing Asset Officer

Job summary

We are looking for a skilled, highly focussed, customer centred End User Computing Asset Officer to be an integral member of our Asset Management & EUC Team within the Digital and Data department. (Fixed term - 18 months).

You will act as the logistical support officer, working in conjunction with leads and managers within the technology sections, along with a varied list of internal and external stakeholders to deliver a secure and robust digital service within TEWV.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.

Main duties of the job

To support the Trust's secure disposal service by retrieving end of life EUC assets and taking them to a central location, identifying areas where asset refresh is required and liaise with IT Contracts and Asset Lead.

To assist and deputise, where appropriate, for the IT Contracts and Asset Lead across a range of information and technical service issues.

To promote at all times a positive image of people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential
  • Educated to HND / HNC standard in an IT related subject or with equivalent experiential learning
  • Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or O Level / GCSE in Maths and English grade C/4 or above

Knowledge/Experience

Essential
  • Demonstratable knowledge of a variety of EUC assets including and understanding of cyber risk.
  • Knowledge of one or more computer system(s), hardware or software and procedures to develop reports, documents and spreadsheets
  • Good knowledge of PC applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Active Directory)
  • Experience in supporting and working with information systems.
  • An understanding of patching network ports to enable connectivity for EUC devices.
  • Knowledge of secure disposal
  • Knowledge of customer care techniques.
  • Experience of working with third party suppliers.
