Junior Corporate Systems Officer

Job summary

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Junior Systems Officer (fixed term - 11 months) to work within the Corporate Systems Team to support the operation and development of Corporate information systems across TEWV.

The ideal candidate will be passionate in developing their career within IT at TEWV.

Experience in the NHS /Systems will be advantageous but not essential.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.

Main duties of the job

Administrative Responsibilities - Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and knowledge documentation to support effective knowledge transfer, system support, and maintenance. Manage user accounts and access rights in line with role requirements and information governance standards. Information & Information Systems Manage and resolve corporate system support calls, ensuring service desk records are up to date and issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.

Administer system access, including user setup, role changes, and account deactivation, while maintaining accurate system administration and login records. Undertake comprehensive system testing, including creation of test scripts, to ensure developments are fit for purpose and deliver expected outcomes.

Staff Training & Development Support the development of training materials and user guidance for Corporate Systems.

Qualifications

Essential
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • A-Levels (Including ICT)
Desirable
  • ECDL or equivalent

Experience

Essential
  • Experience of a customer led service.
  • Experience of working with IT/Systems
Desirable
  • Experience of working in an IT/Systems environment

Knowledge

Essential
  • Highly developed computer literacy and Advanced keyboard skills
  • Good knowledge of standard PC applications (e.g. MS Teams, Word, Excel)
