Senior Linked Data Developer

Role Overview

Join us as a Semantic Web Specialist driving the architecture and implementation of cutting-edge linked data solutions. You’ll design robust semantic models for environmental observation data, craft SHACL-based validation frameworks, and build scalable services that marry performance with W3C standards. Collaborate with domain experts to transform requirements into RDF models and guide best practices in semantic web compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Engineer validation schemas aligned with SOSA/SSN standards
  • Develop DCAT3-compliant metadata services and SKOS vocabularies
  • Implement Triple Pattern Fragments for efficient data access
  • Optimize semantic models for speed and standards compliance
  • Create tools for data harmonization and domain modeling
  • Design versioning strategies for evolving vocabularies
  • Build Hydra-compliant hypermedia APIs
  • Handle geospatial data using WKT and geographic vocabularies
  • Write and tune SPARQL queries, integrate SQL-to-RDF pipelines

  • Strong ability to translate domain needs into semantic models
  • Experience with federated linked data architectures
