We’re working with a well-trusted global company in the financial services sector that’s expanding their core engineering team . This is an exciting opportunity for Java Developers who are passionate about application reliability, production support, and backend performance enhancement.

This team is growing, and they’re looking for two experienced Java Engineers to help modernize and maintain enterprise platforms and their applications that serve millions of users globally.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Improve and support large-scale backend applications in a regulated environment
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based microservices
• Collaborate with global teams (UK, US) to improve system performance and stability
• Contribute to incident resolution, defect management, and technical enhancements
• Work with modern technologies: Java 11+, Spring, Kafka, MongoDB, GitLab

✅ Your Essential Skills

• 4+ years of Java development experience (Java 11+ preferred)
• Strong skills in Spring Framework and microservices architecture
• Experience supporting or enhancing critical backend applications
• Familiar with Kafka or similar messaging tools
• Hands-on with MongoDB or other NoSQL solutions
• Understanding of full SDLC and working in agile teams

⭐ Bonus Points

• Experience in production support or application maintenance roles
• Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation (JUnit, Gherkin)
• Background in financial services, fintech, or any industries with Java 11+ applications
