Senior Application Specialist

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Senior Application Specialist to join their team and play a crucial role in their financial operations. 

Position: Senior Application Specialist
Location: East London
Salary: £52,267 to £56,000

Duties:

• Responsible for managing and supporting financial system integrations and transactions across multiple council systems, including housing, council tax, banking, and payment platforms.
• Process and automate financial data transfers between systems and ensures critical financial processes run smoothly.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Senior Application Specialist role or equivalent.
• The successful candidate needs a combination of technical skills (SQL & database management, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), PCC/Civica Automation Suite, scheduling and automation tools).
• Understanding of financial systems and transactions
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve finance-related processing issues.
