The Role

As a Test Lead, you'll be responsible for providing a robust testing framework that ensures the quality of project deliverables. You'll work closely with stakeholders to define and implement testing strategies that provide sufficient levels of assurance, ensuring business confidence in the final solutions. A key responsibility will be defining and overseeing the end-to-end integration testing strategy across various enterprise systems, with SAP at the centre.

What You'll Be Doing

• Test Strategy Development: Define the overall test approach for end-to-end solutions, including unit, system integration, user acceptance, pre-production, volume, regression, penetration, operational, and functional acceptance testing.

• Assurance Processes: Oversee the sign-off process for testing programmes valued over £5 million, ensuring all deliverables meet the required standards.

• Tool Selection: Identify and implement the right testing tools to align with project needs.

• Leadership: Guide and mentor testing teams, ensuring best practices are followed and quality is consistently delivered.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with business goals.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a Test Lead with deep expertise, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering quality solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of testing experience, with a proven track record of success in large-scale programmes.

• Experience with testing programmes of work valued over £5 million.

• Expertise in developing and implementing robust testing methods, processes, and plans.

• Demonstrable experience leading test teams on projects that involve SAP, including defining the test approach for SAP modules and integrations.

• Strong, hands-on experience in defining and managing complex integration testing, particularly between multiple enterprise systems.

• Strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies (more relevant than Agile for this role).

• Technical knowledge and experience in defining test approaches for complex end-to-end solutions.

• Experience selecting and implementing testing tools to meet project needs.

• Previous experience in a logistics or supply-chain business.
