We’re working with a leading organisation delivering data centre infrastructure and network deployments, and are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to support ongoing projects across multiple sites.
This is a contract role focused on hands-on delivery within data centre environments, covering network installs, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
The Role
- Installation, configuration, and support of network infrastructure within data centres
- Rack & stack of network equipment (switches, routers, patch panels)
- Structured cabling support (fibre & copper patching, testing, labelling)
- Network migrations, upgrades, and hardware refresh projects
- Troubleshooting connectivity issues and supporting incident resolution
- Working closely with project teams, DC ops, and third-party vendors
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in data centre network environments
- Hands-on with:
- Switches & routers (Cisco, Juniper or similar)
- Structured cabling (fibre & copper)
- Rack environments and patching standards
- Experience supporting deployments, migrations, or BAU within DCs
- Ability to work both remotely and on-site when required
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Desirable
- Experience in colocation or hyperscale environments
- Knowledge of DCIM tools or asset management systems
- Relevant certifications (CCNA / CCNP or equivalent)
