About the Role

I am seeking an experienced AI Architect to help design and deliver advanced AI and Generative AI solutions within a global professional services organisation.

Working within a specialist AI and Data consulting practice, this role will focus on helping large insurance organisations adopt modern AI capabilities and integrate them into their existing enterprise technology ecosystems.

You will work with senior stakeholders to define AI architecture strategies and deliver scalable solutions that leverage Generative AI, machine learning and cloud-based data platforms. The role will involve leading the design and implementation of end-to-end AI architectures while supporting organisations through complex digital and data transformation initiatives.

This position is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience across AI/ML architecture, cloud AI services and large language model technologies, alongside the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate senior stakeholder vision into AI/ML/Generative AI architecture strategies and implementation roadmaps
• Design and implement end-to-end AI and machine learning architectures
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI/ML use cases for enterprise-scale deployment
• Select appropriate cloud technologies and AI platforms based on scalability, performance and integration requirements
• Deliver AI-enabled applications using agile delivery methodologies
• Ensure solutions meet security, governance and ethical AI standards
• Support proposal development, client engagements and go-to-market activities

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in AI architecture, solution architecture or machine learning engineering
• Experience implementing cloud-based AI/ML solutions across platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies and large language models
• Knowledge of vector databases, semantic search and embedding techniques
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
