Tenth Revolution Group is working with a well-established organisation in London to recruit an Azure Cloud Analyst on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Azure Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Analyst, or Technical Analyst looking to take a step towards architecture, governance, and cloud strategy. Working closely with the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you'll play a key role in overseeing Azure services, supporting cloud governance initiatives, reviewing technical solutions, and ensuring technology partners are delivering against agreed standards and best practices.
This role sits between infrastructure operations and architecture, making it ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of Azure but wants greater involvement in solution oversight, governance, and strategic decision-making.
The Role
As an Azure Cloud Analyst, you'll support the review, governance, and documentation of Azure-based solutions across the organisation's technology estate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing Azure infrastructure and cloud solution designs
- Supporting cloud governance and architecture review processes
- Assessing proposed changes and identifying technical or architectural impacts
- Working with managed service providers and technology partners to validate technical decisions and delivery approaches
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and cloud artefacts
- Supporting the development of cloud standards, governance processes, and best practices
- Managing and maintaining architecture repositories and technical records
- Facilitating discussions between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers
- Monitoring solution compliance with organisational standards and governance frameworks
- Supporting technology roadmaps and future cloud initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in an Azure Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Support, or Cloud Operations environment
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of Azure governance, security, policies, and operational best practices
- Experience producing technical documentation, diagrams, and supporting solution reviews
- Ability to analyse technical solutions and confidently engage with internal teams and external suppliers
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with managed service providers or consultancy-delivered solutions would be beneficial
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate
- Experience using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Orbus Infinity, or similar
- Understanding of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, CRM, data, or integration platforms
- Experience supporting architecture governance or technical review forums
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or similar
