BI Analyst - Hybrid (Glasgow) - Power BI, SQL, Excel - Up to £40,000

You will work with
This role offers a good mix of hands-on BI development, communication, and involvement in key strategic data projects. You'll be:
- Building and refining dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Writing light to moderate SQL, mainly for report building and querying datasets.
- Translating complex insights into simple, clear messages for non-technical stakeholders, including senior managers.
- Refactoring old legacy reports and improving existing reporting assets.
- Supporting the design of new BI and data architecture.
- Helping the business transition away from older tools (including ZAP) and towards Microsoft Fabric, which is already being implemented.
- Working on evolving data foundations as the organisation modernises its BI ecosystem.
- Engaging with managers across Finance, Operations, Digital & Data, and commercial teams.

Key experience
Essential
- Strong experience with Power BI - building, refining, and improving dashboards and reports.
- A solid foundation in SQL (light/medium usage is fine).
- Excellent communication skills - confident explaining complex data in a simple, engaging way.
- Ability to tell clear, compelling stories using data.
- Comfortable working independently, owning tasks, and managing deadlines.
