As part of a large-scale transformation programme, you'll help modernise core business platforms, support cloud adoption, replace legacy systems, and drive the delivery of enterprise-wide digital solutions. Working at the intersection of business operations and technology, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver meaningful change that improves efficiency, enhances processes, and supports long-term growth.

The Role

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will act as the key link between operational teams, technology specialists, and third-party partners. You'll be responsible for understanding business challenges, gathering and analysing requirements, and translating them into practical, scalable technology solutions.

This is a highly visible role offering exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects spanning systems integration, process improvement, platform modernisation, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand current processes, challenges, and strategic objectives.

  • Gather, document, and analyse both business and technical requirements.

  • Produce clear and detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and process maps.

  • Create and maintain "as-is" and "to-be" process models to support transformation initiatives.

  • Work closely with development teams, architects, and third-party vendors to ensure successful solution delivery.

  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions.

  • Support system implementations, enhancements, integrations, and migration projects.

  • Contribute to project planning, prioritisation, and delivery roadmaps.

  • Assist with testing activities, including test planning, UAT coordination, and solution validation.

  • Ensure effective communication and alignment between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Maintain high-quality documentation and support knowledge transfer across the organisation.

About You

You'll be a technically minded Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for delivering business-focused technology solutions.

Essential Experience
  • 3-5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.

  • Experience working within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, operations, or similarly complex environments.

  • Strong understanding of systems integration, APIs, databases, and software development lifecycles (SDLC).

  • Proven experience producing business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and requirements management practices.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office.

Desirable Experience
  • ERP, MIS, or other enterprise business systems experience.

  • SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis.

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other business process improvement methodologies.

  • Cloud transformation, digital modernisation, or legacy system migration projects.

  • Experience with EDI, XML, JSON, middleware, or integration technologies.

  • Exposure to development environments and technologies such as .NET or C#.

  • Knowledge of production, warehouse management, fulfilment, or manufacturing systems.
