Contract Change Manager - DevOps - Outside IR35
Please note - this role requires you to be UK based with the unrestricted right to work in the UK.
An experienced Change Manager is required to support a major Leveraging DevOps programme aimed at transforming digital operations across a global organization. The role is critical in driving cultural, process, and skills transformation to enable modern ways of working.
The Change Manager will work closely with programme leadership, delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of new practices and deliver measurable impact.
Core Focus- Lead organisational change initiatives within a DevOps/Git/GitHub environment, ideally within Azure.
- Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and cultural practices aligned with DevOps principles.

Change Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a tailored change management strategy aligned with programme goals.
- Conduct impact assessments and stakeholder analyses to identify risks and readiness.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Build and maintain engagement plans across internal teams and governance bodies.
- Design and deliver communication strategies that clearly articulate the programme's vision and benefits.

Change Delivery & Support
- Integrate change activities into the overall programme plan.
- Facilitate workshops, training, and coaching to support adoption of new ways of working.

Monitoring & Evaluation
- Define and track KPIs to measure adoption, utilisation, and proficiency.
- Adjust strategies based on feedback and performance data for continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in change management within DevOps/Git/GitHub environments (Azure preferred).
- Strong understanding of organisational change frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and influence at all levels.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Outside IR35
- Home-based with occasional travel to London or Newcastle
- Competitive day rate: £400-£500
