The Opportunity

An established and forward-thinking organisation is seeking a Data Architect to join a high-performing Architecture & Strategy function. This is a key role responsible for shaping and driving enterprise-wide data architecture to support critical business operations, analytics, and decision-making.

You'll play a central role in designing scalable, secure, and future-ready data solutions across a complex environment, working closely with senior stakeholders to align technical delivery with strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the organisation's data architecture framework
  • Design and integrate data solutions across multiple platforms and systems
  • Lead data modelling, data flows, and system interoperability initiatives
  • Drive best practice in data governance, metadata, and quality standards
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and business teams to deliver value
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and data management standards

About You

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a senior data-focused role
  • Strong background in data modelling, integration, and architecture frameworks
  • Solid understanding of:
  • Data governance & metadata management
  • Enterprise architecture principles
  • Regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience with modern data platforms and cloud technologies
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly
