Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer/Data Integration Architect to design, develop, and deliver scalable data integration and transformation solutions. The role involves working with Pentaho, Denodo, Talend, and SAS to support Business Intelligence and analytics platforms, while driving Agile and DevOps practices.

• Design, develop, and deploy data integration and transformation solutions using Pentaho, Denodo, Talend, and SAS.

• Architect scalable data pipelines and services for BI and analytics systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.

• Promote Agile and Scrum methodologies to ensure timely delivery.

• Implement DevOps practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment.

• Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence.

• Ensure data quality, governance, and security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and performance issues.

• Proficiency in SAS 9.4 (DI) and SAS Viya 3.x (SAS Studio, VA, VI).

• Experience with Platform LSF, Jira, and Platform Support.

• Strong version control knowledge (GIT).

• Expertise in ETL tools: Pentaho and Talend.

• Experience with data virtualization (Denodo).

• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.

• Oracle experience is an advantage.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Proven experience delivering large-scale data engineering or integration projects.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Certifications in Agile/Scrum, DevOps, or data technologies are a plus.
