As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the company's data platform, ensuring business-critical data is accurate, accessible and trusted. Working within a collaborative technology team, you will help deliver data-driven insights that support both operational and strategic decision-making across the business.

You will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike, contributing to data engineering, reporting, analytics and data quality initiatives. This is a hands-on position offering the opportunity to influence how data is leveraged across the organisation while continuing to develop your technical skills in a supportive and growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and enhance data pipelines and data models.
  • Build and optimise SQL-based transformations and reporting datasets.
  • Write complex SQL queries to answer business-critical questions.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor and improve data quality across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, BI Developer or similar data-focused role.
  • Strong SQL development and query-writing skills.
  • Experience working with relational databases and structured datasets.
  • Knowledge of data transformation, integration and reporting processes.
  • Experience using Git or other version control tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-motivated and commercially minded approach.
