The Role:

As a Data Engineering Manager, you'll oversee the design, development and implementation of data platforms and engineering solutions that support analytics, AI and business insights.

Alongside people leadership responsibilities, you'll remain involved in the technical direction of projects; supporting the design of modern data architectures, cloud-based platforms and agnostic data integration frameworks.

You'll also be responsible for driving engineering standards, improving delivery processes and leading across data governance, security, scalability and performance.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong, Credible track-record of leading data engineering teams or functions.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Python and SQL.
  • Experience in data modelling, design and platform development.
  • Stakeholde management skills - a shown ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Solid exposure to AI/ML programmes through data platform development.
  • Proven understanding of modern data architectures and warehousing concepts.
