About the Role

We are seeking a Data Modelling Lead to join a specialist consulting team focused on delivering large-scale data transformation across the Insurance sector.

In this senior role, you will take ownership of designing business-facing data models that underpin modern data ecosystems, including advanced analytics, machine learning and domain-oriented data products.

You will work closely with stakeholders across business and technology functions to understand their objectives, define common data language and architect models that enable scalable, high-quality data solutions across the enterprise.

You will have the responsibility for guiding data modelling best practice, shaping data strategy and mentoring teams across complex client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of Insurance data models supporting a wide range of functions and transformation initiatives
  • Contribute to end-to-end data and solution architecture, ensuring alignment across domains, functions and delivery teams
  • Partner with senior client stakeholders to define a common language for data across the organisation
  • Shape strategic roadmaps for data and AI capabilities, ensuring data foundations support analytics, reporting and machine learning use cases
  • Facilitate data design workshops, gathering and documenting requirements and reviewing outputs with business and technical stakeholders
  • Support business development through proposals, presentations and pre-sales activities

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in a consulting environment, including client-facing delivery and proposal development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with executive-level leaders
  • Deep expertise across Insurance domains
  • Strong understanding of data solutions including data modelling, data management, data quality, MDM, reporting, analytics and BI
  • Hands-on experience developing data models and data dictionaries
