Data and Analytics Analyst
As a Senior Data & Analytics Analyst, you'll play a key role in driving data excellence across our organisation. Using your technical and analytical expertise, you'll support internal teams and external partners - including assureds, brokers, and suppliers - by delivering actionable insights and reliable data solutions.
You'll work closely with data engineers and stakeholders to design and develop datasets, data models, and dashboards, translating complex information into clear, accessible insights that guide decision-making.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver regular management and regulatory reports, and handle ad-hoc data requests.

Support the annual renewal budgeting process, ensuring underwriters have the right tools and data.

Partner with Underwriting to deliver insights that enhance pricing and product performance.

Collaborate with Technology to evolve our data architecture and maintain reliable, fit-for-purpose datasets.

Promote data literacy and best practices across the business, driving adoption of data tools and insights.

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through better use of data.
Essential
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Highly organised and self-driven, able to manage multiple priorities.

Strong numerical reasoning and analytical ability.

Advanced Excel and Power BI (or similar) skills.

Experience in the insurance industry.
Desirable
-
Marine or specialty lines insurance experience.

SQL and Power Query proficiency.

Experience with data governance.

Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications.

Understanding of reinsurance.
