🚨 Desk Developer / Front Office Developer – Newcastle upon Tyne – 5 days onsite 🚨

I’m hiring for a Desk Developer to join a high-calibre engineering team building tools used directly by traders, quants and business users.

The role involves designing and delivering web applications, APIs and data-driven tools that support markets, risk, positions, P&L and trading workflows.

Looking for:

• Strong C#, C++, Java or similar
• Experience building web applications and APIs
• TypeScript, React or similar
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills
• Ability to work closely with traders, quants and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and end-to-end ownership
• Interest in financial markets / front-office technology

Front-office or financial markets experience is a bonus, but not essential for strong engineers.

Permanent role with very competitive salaries based on experience. Relocation support available and open to matching strong existing salary packages.
