About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Fabric Data Engineering Consultant to join a growing Microsoft data and AI consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity for a data professional who enjoys designing modern data platforms, building scalable solutions and helping organisations unlock the value of their data through advanced analytics and cloud technologies.

Working within a collaborative consulting environment, you will play a key role in delivering data transformation projects using modern Microsoft technologies, whilst continuing to develop your expertise across data engineering, analytics, AI and emerging cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and optimise data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft data technologies.
  • Develop scalable solutions for data ingestion, transformation and storage.
  • Create efficient, reusable Python code for data engineering workloads.
  • Support advanced analytics, machine learning and data modelling initiatives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver business-focused data solutions.
  • Research and adopt emerging cloud, data and AI technologies.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Data Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Fabric and different Microsoft data technologies.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or a strong desire to develop expertise within the Fabric ecosystem.
  • Strong Python programming skills focused on data engineering and data processing.
  • Understanding of data modelling principles and the Kimball methodology.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • DP-600: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
  • DP-700: Fabric Data Engineer Associate
