IT Business Analyst

The opportunity

I am actively recruiting on behalf of a growing retail/ supply chain organisation who are seeking to add to their team with an enthusiastic Business Analyst – to join them and get hands on with a variety of interesting projects over the coming years. This will include the further roll out of their ERP/ CRM solution (Microsoft Dynamics), as well as new warehousing/ ecommerce functionality and much more.

The role offers the chance to be a part of an expansive business embarking on a large scale digital transformation; working within a collaborative environment with excellent career progression openings.

My client operates a hybrid working model between home and modern Greater Manchester based offices (typically 2-3 days per week on-site, project phase dependant).

Responsibilities

• Detailed scoping and analysis of business requirements (AS IS/ TO BE)
• Functional process mapping/ documentation
• End to end project lifecycle involvement including install/ config, testing, key user training, go-live support
• Reporting tasks – utilising SQL/ Power BI
• Working closely with senior team on project prioritisation, with excellent organisation/ attention to detail

Requiried skills/ experience

• Proven experience in IT business analysis (preferably 2-3 years)
• End to end project lifecycle skills – analysis, requirement gathering, process mapping, documentation, testing, training, support
• ERP/ CRM system experience (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Industry/ process experience in ecommerce/ warehousing/ supply chain (preferable, not essential)
• Excellent communication/ analytical skills
