About The Role:
Weâre expanding our Technology & Transformation practice and are looking for an experienced Java Developer to help design and deliver innovative, secure, cloudânative solutions for our clients across multiple industries.
đ§ What youâll be doing
- Designing, developing and maintaining highâquality Java applications
- Building and securing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot / Spring MVC
- Collaborating in crossâfunctional agile teams to deliver client solutions endâtoâend
- Contributing to architecture and system design, including nonâfunctional requirements
- Supporting live services, troubleshooting production issues, and improving observability
- Mentoring engineers and contributing to the wider engineering community
đ ď¸ What weâre looking for
- Strong handsâon experience with Java (JVM languages such as Kotlin or Scala welcome)
- Solid knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns
- Experience with Spring Framework, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Confidence communicating complex technical topics to both technical and nonâtechnical stakeholders
â Nice to have
- Kafka, SQS, Serverless (Lambda)
- Monitoring & logging tools (ELK, Dynatrace, Splunk)
- JPA / Hibernate, Swagger / OpenAPI, automated testing tools
- Experience delivering projects from backlog through to production
