Junior Analyst

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000

I am working with a fast-growing, tech-enabled organisation that is transforming how data is used to drive financial and operational decision-making. With a strong focus on accuracy, insight, and continuous improvement, they are empowering teams across the business to make smarter and faster decisions.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to bring on a Junior Analyst to join their analytics team. This is a high-impact, detail-oriented role where you will play a key part in ensuring data quality, spotting anomalies and supporting performance monitoring across the business.

You will be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values curiosity, precision and development.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing daily and weekly reports to identify data errors
  • Analysing historical data to flag unexpected trends and patterns
  • Preparing reports that highlight performance deviations across time periods
  • Creating simple dashboards and visualisations to communicate anomalies
  • Learning SQL and data visualisation tools under mentorship of other team members

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data validation)
  • A methodical, investigative mindset with a passion for data accuracy
  • Eagerness to learn SQL and modern BI tools
  • Strong written communication skills for documenting findings

Some of the package details include:

  • Salary of up to £30,000
  • 10% performance related bonus
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Various retail and lifestyle discounts

This is just a brief overview of the role. For the full details, simply apply with your CV and I'll be in touch to discuss it further.
