OpenShift Platform Engineer / Migration Tech Lead

📍 Sheffield – 3 days onsite / 2 remote

💷 £500/day Inside IR35 (via umbrella)

⏳ Contract until Nov 2026

We’re working with a global consultancy who are looking for an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer / Migration Tech Lead to lead the design and delivery of OpenShift architectures and support large-scale migration of workloads onto OpenShift.

You’ll play a key role in defining target architecture, integrating OpenShift with existing VMware and enterprise storage platforms, and driving DevOps and automation best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and lead OpenShift (OCP) architecture and cluster topology
Lead migration of applications and workloads to OpenShift
Integrate OpenShift with VMware (vSphere, NSX) and Pure Storage
Build and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, and scripting
Ensure high availability, security, and scalability
