PMO Administrator (Contract)
Duration: 3–6 months with likely extensions
Location: 2–3 days per week onsite in Central London
Immediate joiners only - start date 30th March
Day Rate is up to £280 per day Outside IR35
About the Opportunity
A growing consultancy is expanding its client portfolio and now requires a proactive PMO Administrator to support programme and project delivery. With workload increasing, we’re looking for a diligent, organised individual who enjoys keeping projects moving, chasing updates, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
This role is ideal for someone at junior to mid-level, with some hands‐on experience supporting multiple projects and a passion for structured delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting programme leaders with day‐to‐day PMO activities
- Preparing and updating project status reports
- Chasing actions, tracking progress, and maintaining RAID logs
- Coordinating stakeholders and ensuring communication flows smoothly
- Managing documentation and reporting requirements
- Providing administrative support to keep large programmes running efficiently
- Working onsite with client teams 2–3 days per week (mainly within the banking sector)
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in PMO, project coordination, or project administration
- Highly organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with multiple stakeholders
- Strong Excel capability (lookups, pivot tables, reporting)
- Technically comfortable and able to pick up new systems quickly
- Experience supporting projects or finance-related change initiatives
