Platform Engineer (Kubernetes & Automation)

Location: Sheffield (Hybrid – 60% onsite / 40% remote)

Rate: £513 per day (Inside IR-35)

Contract: Until Nov 2026

The Role

You’ll work across the full platform lifecycle, including:

• Operating and maintaining large-scale Kubernetes (K8s) environments
• Performing hands-on platform changes , upgrades, and configuration
• Supporting BAU platform operations , incidents, and problem management
• Automating operational tasks using Python, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub
• Improving reliability, resilience, and operational efficiency over time
• Working closely with other platform and infrastructure teams in a collaborative, “everyone does everything” culture
