An established group organisation comprising more than twenty businesses across professional services and related sectors is seeking an experienced Portfolio Delivery Lead / Manager. The group is undergoing a significant transformation programme and requires a delivery professional capable of coordinating multiple concurrent initiatives across a diverse portfolio.
Reporting to the Group Transformation Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered effectively, stakeholders remain aligned, and progress is communicated clearly and succinctly.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate a portfolio of projects spanning multiple business entities, including technology implementations, operational improvements, and functional transformation initiatives.
- Support the delivery of systems‐related projects (e.g., CRM/Salesforce implementations, HR system deployment) without requiring deep technical expertise.
- Provide structured, high‐level progress reporting, offering clarity without unnecessary detail.
- Maintain delivery momentum across several workstreams simultaneously, ensuring risks, issues, and dependencies are appropriately managed.
- Work closely with the Group Transformation Director to strengthen project governance and delivery disciplines across the organisation.
- Operate with a suitable degree of autonomy while collaborating effectively within established frameworks and stakeholder structures.
Candidate Profile

- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and maintain oversight of complex delivery portfolios.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide concise, outcome‐focused updates.
- Background in fast‐paced organisations (e.g., retail, consumer-facing, or similarly agile environments). Experience within private equity‐backed organisations is beneficial but not essential.
- Highly organised, delivery‐focused, and able to navigate ambiguity with a pragmatic approach.
- Confident in engaging and influencing stakeholders at various levels across diverse business units.
Offer
- An opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a wide‐ranging transformation agenda within a varied portfolio of businesses.
- A collaborative working environment with direct engagement from senior leadership.
- Broad exposure across multiple disciplines, systems, and business functions.
