Power BI Developer

Are you a Power BI enthusiast with a passion for building scalable, business-ready data solutions? Join the newly established Data and Reporting function of a forward-thinking business that’s on a mission to become truly data-driven.

This is a hybrid role, with 2–3 days per week in the Central London office to collaborate with your team and stakeholders.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the business’s data landscape - owning data assets within the presentational layer, supporting the growth and maintenance of the data warehouse, and building effective data marts. You’ll also work closely with Power BI Developers to develop and maintain semantic models that make data accessible and meaningful to the wider business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insightful Power BI reporting solutions
• Designing and maintaining semantic models to support self-service analytics
• Developing and managing data marts to support business functions
• Supporting the growth and maintenance of the enterprise data warehouse
• Ensuring data is transformed, modelled, and presented in a way that supports accurate, accessible reporting
• Applying best practices in data transformation design, data modelling, and semantic layer development

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong SQL data modelling and transformation skills
• Experience with semantic modelling and Power BI data modelling principles
• Proven ability to design and develop insightful, user-friendly Power BI reports
• Proficiency in writing complex DAX measures
• Experience working in an Azure environment
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory or Databricks (bonus)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A keen eye for design and a passion for creating visually engaging reports
