Power BI Developer - Permanent - Hybrid

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer / SQL Developer to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL Server, SSIS, DAX, and data modelling, with a passion for transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making.

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.

• Develop and manage ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

• Build and maintain robust data models (star and snowflake schemas) for reporting and analytics.

• Create efficient and scalable DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting platforms.

• Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to resolve issues and improve performance.

• Document data flows, models, and reporting logic.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI (reporting, dashboards, data visualization).

• Advanced proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, query optimization, database design).

• Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL development.

• Solid understanding of DAX for calculations and performance tuning.

• Experience in data modelling (dimensional modelling, fact/dimension tables).

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.

• Ability to work with large datasets and optimize performance.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Factory).

• Knowledge of Power BI Service, gateways, and deployment pipelines.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Understanding of data governance and security practices.
