Salary: Approximately £50-60,000

Location: Portsmouth - Hybrid - 3 Days per week

Role Overview

An established technology-led organisation is seeking a capable Project Manager / Business Analyst to support the delivery of multiple concurrent IT and business change initiatives. The role will focus on projects within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Fabric data implementations, Microsoft 365, Dynamics, Business Central, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

This position is critical to ongoing programme stability and future project success. The post-holder will take ownership of day-to-day delivery, ensuring structure, clarity, and momentum across both internal and client-facing workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Deliver end‐to‐end management of technology and business change projects.
  • Facilitate and lead daily stand‐ups and project meetings (internal and client‐side).
  • Oversee project scheduling, resource coordination, and milestone tracking.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, risks, and governance to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across varying size and complexity.
  • Support quality assurance, change control, and documentation standards.
  • Contribute to both smaller internal initiatives and larger transformation programmes in the pipeline.

Business Analysis

  • Conduct requirements gathering, discovery workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
  • Analyse, refine, and document business needs, translating them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritise requirements and manage backlogs in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Map processes, workflows, and future-state solutions.
  • Serve as the bridge between business teams, customers, and technical delivery units.

  • Power Platform workstreams (Power Apps & Power Automate)
  • Additional technical transformation projects currently under tender

Essential Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in a hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst role.
  • Background delivering technology projects within the Microsoft ecosystem, ideally including Dynamics, Business Central, Fabric, or Power Platform.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience running structured delivery practices such as stand‐ups, sprint planning, and backlog management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all stakeholder levels.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous work within a consultancy environment.
  • Experience stabilising or optimising existing systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, including user story creation and sprint management.

Working Arrangements

  • Onsite presence required near Portsmouth two days per week.
  • Hybrid working pattern across client sites, office, and home.
  • Contract candidates may be considered; 1–2 month notice periods preferred.
