Role: Senior AI engineer

Location: London (5 days in office requirement)

Contract length: 12 months

Daily rate: £950 (inside IR35)

I'm currently working with a large financial client looking for a contract Senior AI engineer.

What you’ll do:

Build and showcase AI-powered solutions for banking, trading, or insurance use cases.

Translate complex AI concepts into clear business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Lead workshops, training, and thought leadership initiatives to promote AI literacy.

Partner with compliance and risk teams to ensure ethical and regulatory alignment.

Prototype and deploy AI models for forecasting, customer insights, and fraud prevention.

Required Skillset:

Advanced Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Strong knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, and agentic architectures.

Familiarity with prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone).

Hands-on experience with code generation tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, LangChain).

Solid understanding of financial services workflows and regulatory requirements (Must have)

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
