PHP Developer

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Performance Bonus (up to 10%)

An innovative technology company is seeking a PHP Developer to join their growing team. This organisation is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge digital solutions and security-focused applications that protect users across multiple platforms.

As part of the backend development team, you will play a key role in building and optimising systems that power customer onboarding, account management portals, and APIs for a suite of security products. This is an opportunity to work on high-traffic applications in a fast-paced environment, using modern technologies and best practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and improving backend systems.
• Converting complex problems into scalable solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Researching and implementing new technologies to enhance performance and security.
• Establishing best practices and mentoring other developers.
• Optimising code performance using profiling tools and TDD workflows.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong commercial experience with PHP.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (preferably Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (beneficial).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
