Senior Data Engineer - London - Hybrid - 60,000 - 75,000

My client are a global leader in their industry and are continuing to expand their growing data practice. They are now looking to hire a highly experienced data engineer with expertise in the Azure Data stack and Databricks to join their team.

Role and Responsibilities

• The role is titled data engineer but essentially my client are looking for someone who is technically at a senior or lead level.
• Orchestrating seamless integration and optimization of diverse business data streams, including CRM, finance, procurement, fleet, and commercial data, ensuring comprehensive data quality and reliability for analytical insights and decision-making processes
• Implemented scalable data pipelines and ELT processes, leveraging Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory & SQL store procedures to efficiently process, transform, and store large volumes of business data, resulting in streamlined data workflows and improved operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop customized solutions, including data modelling & governance, schema design, and performance tuning, enabling agile and data-driven decision-making across the organization's business units.

What do I need to apply for the role

• High level of Azure data engineering experience
• Strong Azure Databricks experience
• Expert SQL
• Strong Python experience
