Salary: up to £65,000

I am working with a leading, tech-focused organisation delivering modern cloud‐based data solutions for complex, high‐impact projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding assignments where you will design and build scalable data platforms, pipelines and analytics solutions to support clients with their data-driven objectives.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will take ownership of end‐to‐end technical delivery within customer projects. This is a hands‐on role where you will work on data architecture designs, implement cloud-based solutions, manage project workloads and collaborate closely with stakeholders while ensuring best‐practice engineering principles are followed throughout.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and delivering end‐to‐end data solutions
• Building and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines and cloud‐based data platforms using Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Leading workshops, capturing requirements and communicating confidently with both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
• Creating dashboards and analytical outputs using Power BI to enable data‐driven decision‐making.
• Leading delivery workstreams, supporting resource planning and mentoring junior team members.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Solid proficiency in SQL and Python
• Working knowledge of Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks or Fabric.
• Understanding of data lake and medallions architectures
• Experience with Power BI and a strong understanding of data modelling
