Alongside leading global teams, you will establish clear engineering standards, embed effective delivery practices and ensure the organisation's data platforms are built for long-term scalability and operational support.

You will play a senior leadership role within the wider data and technology function, developing engineering leaders, strengthening internal capability and ensuring all engineering activity meets agreed quality and governance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop data engineering, Power Platform and SharePoint engineering teams
  • Set, maintain and enforce engineering standards across Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure, Power Apps, Power Automate and Azure DevOps
  • Partner closely with Digital Transformation, IT, Product and Project teams to align priorities and remove delivery blockers
  • Oversee vendor-led engineering delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, compliance and value for money

  • Champion continuous improvement across tooling, processes, security and data platform architecture

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong technical knowledge across Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint and Azure DevOps
  • Proven experience operating within multi-vendor delivery models
  • Experience developing engineering functions and scaling high-performing teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence operating at senior leadership level

What's on Offer

  • Base salary up to £110,000 with discretionary annual bonus
  • 8% employer pension contribution
  • 25 days annual leave plus holiday purchase options
  • Private medical cover, employee assistance programme and virtual GP service
  • Competitive parental leave
  • Flexible benefits including season ticket loans, gym discounts and cycle-to-work scheme
  • Extensive career development and learning opportunities within a global technology function
