We’re working with a leading investment management client who is looking to bring on multiple experienced Software Engineers to support the development of critical internal platforms used by investors and analysts.
This is a fast-moving opportunity where you’ll play a key role in building and enhancing tools that directly impact investment decision-making, research workflows, and portfolio strategy.
The role
You’ll be working across the full stack, contributing to the design, development, and improvement of internal applications and services. These tools are central to how the business generates insights and makes investment decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and enhancing applications that support investment research and decision-making
- Developing across UI, APIs, and backend services
- Improving reliability, usability, and overall user experience
- Collaborating directly with stakeholders and end users to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Contributing to engineering standards and best practices
What we’re looking for
- 6+ years’ experience delivering production-grade software
- Strong experience with C#, Python, SQL, AWS, and Terraform
- Background in investment management or financial services (essential)
- Proven ability to work closely with business users and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to delivery
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with R programming
- Experience building user-facing web applications and APIs
- Exposure to AI tools and integrating them into real-world workflows
