Senior Oracle Fusion HCM Consultant
Remote UK wide with travel to client side once per month.
Salary- up to £105,000 Gross/a DOE + bonus + great benefits package
Full right to work in the UK ( No sponsorship but can take people on a dependant visa)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Lead Consultant to drive the implementation and support of Core HR, Absence, Payroll, and Performance modules for our UK public sector clients. You will play a key role across the full project life cycle - leading workshops, designing solutions, overseeing integrations, guiding testing phases, and ensuring smooth transitions into BAU support.
This is a client‐facing leadership role that requires strong functional expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, actionable insights for a diverse audience.
What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver end‐to‐end Oracle Fusion HCM implementations, with focus on:
- Core HR
- Absence
- Payroll
- Performance
- Provide expert guidance and hands‐on configuration for UK public sector clients.
- Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and execute Payroll Parallel Reconciliation (PPR).
- Support post‐go‐live hypercare for smooth customer transition.
- Work with key HCM technical tools including:
- HCM Data Loader (HDL)
- HCM Extracts
- BI Reporting
- Fast Formulas
- Payroll Batch Loader
- Lead client discussions on integrations, data migrations, reporting, and cross‐module dependencies.
- Prepare and deliver Business Process Specifications, Configuration Workbooks, and Change Requests.
- Drive end‐to‐end SDLC activities including:
- Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) / Playback sessions
- Training preparation and delivery
- Release planning and execution
- Produce detailed status reports, including RAG updates, risk mitigation plans, and maintenance of RAID logs.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years hands‐on experience implementing Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Deep functional knowledge of Core HR, Absence, Payroll, and Performance modules.
- Strong expertise with Oracle HCM technical tools (HDL, HCM Extracts, Fast Formula, BI Publisher, Payroll Batch Loader).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical solutions for technical, business, and management teams.
- Proven experience leading integration, data migration, and reporting discussions.
- Strong understanding of the full SDLC.
- Solid documentation and reporting skills, including RAID and RAG management.
Preferred
- Strong planning skills, especially around release cycles and delivery timelines.
- Experience with Agile or Lean methodologies.
