We’re currently looking for Senior Software Engineers who enjoy being hands-on and thrive on solving complex technical challenges. While we’re flexible on location, we do ask that you’re able to travel to our office at least once every two weeks.

This role is part of a new greenfield initiative within the personal insurance space. The venture combines the agility and innovation of a start-up with the stability and backing of a major UK financial services provider.

As a Senior Software Engineer , you’ll collaborate closely with Product Owners, subject matter experts, and other team members to deliver high-quality outcomes through continuous development and release cycles. You’ll help shape best practices in engineering, improve development processes, and ensure robust design and code quality that meets both functional and non-functional requirements.

Our Tech Stack:

UI: Typescript, React, Next.Js, HTML/ CSS, Docker, GitHub Actions, AWS- CDK, ECS, ALB, VPC.

API's: Go, Rest, CDK. AWS- CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, Event Bridge, S3, Severless and event driven architecture

Platforms: Go, CDK, AWS

Skills and experience:

-Proficient in JavaScript and ideally familiar with Go , with a strong enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies beyond the Java ecosystem

-Comfortable working in modern engineering environments , including Agile methodologies,

DevOps practices , and cloud-native architectures using platforms like AWS

-Actively contributes ideas around emerging technologies , solution design , and delivery improvements , helping shape the team’s technical direction

-Enjoys a collaborative team culture , tackling challenges alongside colleagues while maintaining a positive and engaging work atmosphere

-Committed to supporting the growth of others , with a genuine interest in mentoring and coaching fellow engineers
