An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a leading technology and transformation consultancy delivering complex AI, data and digital solutions for enterprise clients.

This role sits within a high-performing engineering and data team focused on helping organisations unlock greater value from their data, modern analytics platforms, and emerging AI technologies.

The Role

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring requirements are translated into scalable, practical, and effective technology solutions.

Working alongside architects, developers and client stakeholders, you will support the end-to-end delivery of complex transformation programmes across data, analytics, and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business, functional and technical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with architects and engineering teams to define solution designs.
  • Support the delivery of AI, data, analytics and systems integration projects.
  • Produce high-quality documentation including process maps, data models, and functional specifications.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analyse system interactions, integrations, and data flows.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation expertise.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exposure to systems integration, enterprise applications, and data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
