I'm working with a globally recognised organisation that has been delivering landmark, high-value projects for over 60 years and continues to invest heavily in technology and digital transformation. Operating across multiple continents, this business combines global scale with a collaborative, people-first culture.
This is a newly created role and the first dedicated Test Engineer position within the team, offering a opportunity to shape testing practices from the ground up. Due to growing demand across multiple functions, this role will act as a central quality function, supporting teams across Apps, SharePoint and Data.

What you'll be working across
This role spans three key areas of the business:
- Apps (primary focus) - Power Platform, including Power Apps and Dataverse
- SharePoint - Business-critical collaboration and workflow solutions
- Data (secondary focus) - Azure data platforms including ADF, Databricks and Fabric
You'll work closely with:
- Data Engineering and Development teams across global locations
- Development Leads and Business Analysts throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Stakeholders across multiple departments looking to leverage your expertise
What you'll be doing
- Owning and coordinating end-to-end testing across Apps, SharePoint and Data functions
- Acting as a self-starter and central point of contact for testing across multiple teams
- Partnering with Dev Leads and BAs on test planning, scenario creation and early validation
- Executing front-end and back-end testing, covering applications, APIs and data pipelines
- Delivering manual and automated testing across functional, integration and regression cycles
- Validating Power Apps, SharePoint solutions, APIs and workflows
- Testing ADF pipelines, Databricks notebooks, Fabric datasets and reporting outputs
- Supporting business simulation, performance, and load testing to ensure real-world stability
- Leading impact assessments to identify dependencies, risks and downstream effects
What we're looking for
- Experience across both manual and automated testing
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and defect investigation
- Hands-on experience testing Power Apps, Dataverse, SharePoint and APIs
- Exposure to data engineering / ETL pipelines
- Ability to design test cases, structure test cycles, and manage execution end-to-end
- Experience testing front-end web applications and back-end systems
- A self-starter mindset, comfortable working across teams and managing competing demands
- Strong analytical skills with clear, confident communication
- Comfortable operating within a structured, enterprise delivery environment
