Transformation Delivery Lead - Inside IR35 - Hybrid
About the Role
As part of the Digital, Transformation and Change team, the Transformation Delivery Lead is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the delivery of transformation and large-scale change initiatives required to achieve our strategic goals. This role plays a critical part in shaping and driving a complex portfolio of initiatives across the organisation, ensuring measurable value and sustainable outcomes.
Working closely with business leaders, digital product leads, change managers, and technology teams, you will establish best-practice programme and project management disciplines, underpinned by strong governance, clear value cases, effective resource planning, and robust risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of a portfolio of transformation and large change initiatives aligned to organisational strategy
Partner with business leaders, digital product leads, and change managers to develop a clear, prioritised portfolio of initiatives
Instil and maintain best-practice programme and project management standards, methodologies, and governance
Ensure initiatives have clear value propositions, benefits realisation plans, delivery roadmaps, and resource models
Drive the transformation agenda across Infrastructure Delivery, coordinating dependencies and managing interrelated workstreams
Oversee delivery of technology-enabled change, including initiatives leveraging AWS cloud services and modern digital platforms
Provide leadership, support, and additional delivery capacity to business leaders to ensure initiatives are effectively scoped, planned, and managed
Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across the transformation portfolio
Maintain a strong understanding of the broader organisational and technology landscape to ensure alignment and long-term sustainability
Skills & Experience
Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes or portfolios in complex environments
Strong programme and project management expertise, including governance, financial management, and benefits realisation
Experience delivering technology and infrastructure change, ideally including cloud-based platforms such as AWS
Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
Strong planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery leadership
