Job Title: Workday Analyst
Location: Pulborough, West Sussex
Salary: £50,000
Hybrid working: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote after probation
TPA Recruit is supporting a global electronics manufacturer in the recruitment of a Workday Analyst.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with direct Workday experience who wants to support, improve and configure HR systems across a complex international business.
The Workday Analyst will support HRIS activity across the UK, Germany and China, working closely with HR, Benefits, Finance, IT and external vendors. The role will suit someone with 3–5 years’ HRIS or HR technology experience, including at least 2 years’ direct Workday experience.
As the Workday Analyst, you will support Workday HCM, Talent, Compensation, Performance, Time & Absence and Recruiting. You will troubleshoot system issues, support reporting and dashboards, maintain data integrity, assist with release testing and translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
This Workday Analyst position would suit someone who is analytical, detail-focused and confident explaining technical information to non-technical users.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Workday across HCM, Talent, Compensation, Performance, Time & Absence and Recruiting.
- Troubleshoot Workday issues, integration failures, reporting problems and end-user queries.
- Conduct audits, reconciliations and data integrity checks.
- Carry out mass system updates and maintain accurate employee records.
- Support Workday release testing, configuration changes and process improvements.
- Translate HR and business requirements into functional designs and scalable technical solutions.
- Maintain process documentation and support compliance with data security and privacy standards.
- Work with HR, Benefits, Finance, IT and external vendors on system initiatives.
- Prepare clear presentations and analysis relating to HR data, reporting and system performance.
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in HRIS, HR technology or a related systems support role.
- At least 2 years’ direct Workday experience.
- Experience supporting or implementing Workday HCM.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employee data.
- Good Excel and data analysis skills.
- Ability to create test scenarios for unit and end-to-end testing.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder support skills.
- Able to work onsite in Pulborough 3 days per week.
Preferred Experience
- Workday Recruiting, Payroll, Time Entry, Time Off or Advanced Compensation.
- Release management and change control.
- HR integrations experience.
- Experience supporting global HR data and multi-country stakeholders.
