Digital Management Programme Lead
As the Digital Management Programme Lead in the Digital Management function, you will be responsible for developing and managing multiple initiatives to achieve our strategic goals. This area is in its early stages, offering a unique opportunity to be directly involved in the initial ideation and planning before leading their delivery. - Strategy Development: Whilst in its infancy, the strategy requires thought leadership to further develop the delivery activity with alignment to the strategic goals of Digital and the company.
- Management: You will be required to work collaboratively and influence a wide range of stakeholders up to and including Director level.
- Planning and Delivery: You will ensure the successful outcomes of the initiatives in the Strategy, with activities such as defining plans and KPIs, the resources and skills required, matrix managing initiative owners to meet goals within specified timelines, and owning and adhering to any central budget constraints.
- Financial Governance Acumen: You will work closely with our supplier and finance teams to optimise project resources and costs.
- Domain Advantage: While not mandatory, experience in utilities or water-related projects would be advantageous.
- Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders to provide updates on progress of the overall strategy and individual initiatives, and to maintain awareness of business needs and priorities.
- Assess the effectiveness of initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement and optimisation.
- Extensive delivery experience.
- Experience in strategy development, planning and delivery, preferably within digital management or a related field.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex challenges.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of technology trends.
- Water industry experience.
- Technical skills/experience in alignment with projects to be run, e.g. in areas of Finance, Audit and Risk.
- Competitive salary of up to £70,000 per annum depending on experience.
- Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (plus bank holidays)
