Leakage Performance Project Analyst
We are looking for a Leakage Performance Project Analyst to join Thames Water! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy environment, collaborating and engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders.Thames Water are focused on reducing leakage as quickly as possible and a key element of our approach to reducing leakage is to review and enhance how we visualise performance across key business areas. The role is focused on setting out our strategy, the implementation and building of management, maintenance, and enhancement of various dashboards and reports within the leakage area, with an emphasis on ensuring data accuracy, automation, and user accessibility. Rolling performance insight from an Exec level all the way through to the front line to understand performance insight and drive the improvement to Leakage PC performance.This role requires strategic thinking, proficiency in Power BI, data analysis, along with strong attention to detail and communication skills to support team efforts and provide actionable insights.What you will be doing as a Leakage Performance Project Analyst
- Lead roll out of enhanced reporting and engagement of people across different business areas: working within a team to engage teams and roll out the newly developed dashboards. Cross-Team Collaboration and Support: Providing support and assistance to co-workers, collaborating on projects, and ensuring smooth functioning of team initiatives.
- Bring in insight and experience from delivering within a different business area / external experience. To ensure the revised rollout of this performance analysis supports Thames Water to embed a matrix management approach across key business areas.
- Report Automation and Data Cleanup: Taking ownership of automating outdated reports, including the District Meter Exchange, District Meter Faults, and District Meter Inputs. This includes developing new interfaces and cleaning up data to streamline reporting, bringing together key metrics and insights in one centralised view processes for easier future management.
- User Guides and Process Notes Creation: Ensuring clear and comprehensive user guides and process documentation for all live and newly created Power BI dashboards are in place, ensuring users can easily navigate and understand the reports. To ensure dashboard reporting is utilised and sustained following roll out.
- Lead roll out and engagement of new reporting: working alongside PM to engage teams and roll out the newly developed dashboards. Cross-Team Collaboration and Support: Providing support and assistance to co-workers, collaborating on projects, and ensuring smooth functioning of team initiatives.
- The successful candidate will have developed key experience in business reporting and the implementation of the architecture of management information.
- Knowledge of Power Bi will also be required.
- Significant relevant industry experience of leading within a similar type of industry, to ensure engagement amongst teams to rollout improved reporting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across a corporate business. Able to turn a complex challenge into a simple explanation for a senior audience.
- Strong communication skills are needed and confidence when negotiating with internal and external stakeholders in this post.
- Fully competent at using industry systems and reporting tools.
- Fully competent at using the appropriate company IT systems and office software.
- Daily Pay rate: £700
- IR35 determination: Inside IR35
