IT Apprentice
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated Infrastructure Technician Apprentice to assist the Network Manager in the day-to-day running of the school’s ICT networks, associated hardware and digital resources.
Role
- First line support and advice to students and staff
- Facilitate the smooth running of the internet, email, social media and online resources
- Provide support and maintenance for network hardware and software, including classroom support
- Provide technical support for school events
- Support in-house training as and when required
- Manage small projects
Training
- On completion, the Apprentice will be awarded the Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship. This standard aligns with the following professional recognition: RITTech
- You will be appointed a skills trainer who will meet with you remotely every 6-8 weeks for reviews and support with your Summative Portfolio work
- Ongoing career development and progression opportunities upon completion of the apprenticeship for the right candidate
