Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Leeds / 2 days onsite
Day rate: £Market rates

Role Overview:
Support the delivery of various IT projects using project methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Agile to internal project standards. Contribute to continuous improvement within the IT project team.

We are specifically looking for a mid-level Project Manager (not senior or above) for this role so aiming for 3 – 6 years commercial experience. We also require specific experience deploying collaboration tools applications such as Smartsheets, Asana, Wrike or similar. Candidates with experience of reviewing / evaluating existing applications and how they're used and deployed in different teams is highly desirable. It would be great if candidates could clearly mark this experience in their CVs.

Candidates who live locally to Leeds are preferred due to the onsite requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Take ownership in delivering IT projects aligned with business strategy.
• Support requirements gathering and development of project documentation (business cases, initiation docs).
• Help assess and prioritise change initiatives based on cost, effort, and business value.
• Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring time, cost, and quality targets are met.
• Coordinate project teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Liaise with third-party suppliers and manage related contractual and financial considerations.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with third-party vendors
• Experienced in managing the full project lifecycle
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Experience delivering Agile projects
• Software / Application projects bias (not infrastructure)

Qualifications:
• PRINCE2 Foundation (essential)
• PRINCE2 Practitioner (desirable)
• Degree (desirable)
