The role

We are looking for a hands-on AI Deployment Engineer to join our growing AI Innovation function. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about AI, eager to make an impact quickly, and ready to roll up their sleeves to help deploy and scale powerful AI tools across our business.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and deploying AI models and tools created by both internal and external teams, delivering small proof-of-concept projects, and ensuring our internal AI capability continues to grow. You’ll be the glue between experimentation and production — helping AI-powered products land safely and successfully across our organisation.

• Deploy, maintain and monitor AI tools and applications built by external partners.
• Build and deploy lightweight POCs and automations using LLMs and API integrations.
• Work with AWS services to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot AI tools and pipelines.
• Support scale-out of existing tools across multiple brands and geographies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders to bring AI tools to life.
• Provide basic operational support and troubleshooting for deployed AI solutions.
• Contribute to internal documentation and handovers, ensuring solutions are sustainable and well understood.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and occasionally present updates or demos of AI tools.

About you

Must-Haves

• Hands-on experience with AWS (ideally Cloud Practitioner level or higher).
• Demonstrated knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and modern AI deployment practices.
• Experience deploying or managing AI tools in real-world settings.
• Ability to work across build and operational contexts (not just R&D).
• Strong communication skills — capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, pragmatic environment, often with evolving priorities.
• A problem-solver who can self-start, spot opportunities, and ask “how can we make this better?”

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with RAG pipelines, LLMOps, or model monitoring (e.g., drift/deprecation).
• Familiarity with machine learning engineering or data engineering concepts.
• Experience working with Salesforce, internal APIs, or microservices.
• Knowledge of Databricks or interest in learning about the intersection of LLMs and data systems.

What This Role Isn’t

This is not a pure R&D or data science role. You won’t be training models from scratch or leading architecture strategy. Instead, you’ll be deploying, adapting, and embedding existing AI capabilities — making them useful, stable, and scalable across the business.
